柴の森（２０１６年１１月）　Shiba Forest (November 2016)

一昨晩、今冬の初雪が降った様子。今日はまた雨に逆戻りました。連日続く雨の合間をぬって、少しずつ畑のマルチ作業を進めています。動物達はまだまだ元気です。ニオとイザベルは乾いた所に身を潜めている事が多いけれど。

Two nights ago was the first snow of the season.  Today, it has gone back to the rain again.  The gardens are getting mulched slowly, seizing on the few breaks in the weather.  The animals are still lively; though, Neo and Izzy prefer to stay dry 🙂

友達の誕生祝いも兼ねて、豆腐鍋を食べました。手作り豆腐と自家製の葉っぱ（小松菜、ミズナ、春菊、ルッコラ）入り。その他は買ったもの。美味しかった！犬達は何も貰えず。。。

Friends gathered here for Tofu hot pot.  Hand-made tofu and home grown greens (komatsuna, mizuna, shungiku, arugula), and the rest were store-bought.  But it was all so good!  The dogs did not get any….
