This year’s experiment – potato towers. As the potatoes grow, they will be covered with more straw and leaves.

菜の花、というか小松菜の花。美味しかった。Komatsuna flower – tasty!
春一番に咲く、名前を知らない花。Always the first to bloom in spring – flower of unknown name.
こんな感じの陽気なのです。A day like this.
イラクサが顔を出した。The nettles are up!
ルピナスも。Lupins, too.
ハウスで冬を越したグリーンズも伸びてきた。Overwintered greens are shooting up.
黄色い桜の蕾が膨らんで。Yellow Cornelian Cherry blossoms swelling.
ワイルドフラワーの種を蒔いた – バリケードの下に。Seeded wildflowers, under a barricade.
この冬最後の雪が去った事を願って、外に植えました。とはいえ、まだ寒い。元気を取り戻せますように。
Hoping that the last snow of this winter has finally passed, transplanted the Mammoth peas outside. But it’s still pretty cold… May they recover their vigour once again!
